Mitchell 1’s new 1Search Plus interface reduces the amount of time technicians spend searching for vehicle-specific component repair information and wiring diagrams.Mitchell 1 has added intelligent navigation to its TruckSeries suite of web-based software for Class 4-8 repair information to allow technicians to find information they need with fewer clicks. The system offers more targeted results, a unique card layout, technician-friendly workflow and an easy-to-use dashboard.
“1Search Plus takes navigation from a half hour down to just seconds to provide information to a technician,” said Scott DeGiorgio, Mitchell 1 general manager. “They have the information at their fingertips right at the bay to help get the vehicle back out on the road.”
The 1Search Plus interface streamlines search and navigation for diagnostic and repair information specific to the vehicle being serviced. A technician selects the vehicle to be serviced, enters a search term for the type of repair required, and 1Search Plus brings together all relevant information in a user-friendly layout.
The screen displays cards with data specific to that engine and vehicle with the search term for what the technician is looking for. Specs, step-by-step testing procedures, component connector, operation, wiring diagrams, remove & replace, after-repair info and labor time.
1Search Plus also offers enhanced wiring diagrams can be searched to find an individual circuit within a diagram. the new navigation feature speeds up the search process and quickly opens the right diagram for the component being searched, without the need to scroll through multiple pages. The circuit is highlighted through all diagrams on which that circuit runs.
